Is it normal for a child to call their parent by their biological name?
Generally, children do not call their parents by their name; they call them "Mom" (female) and "Dad," (male) or some variation of those. ... It can easily be disrespectful, especially if they usually call them "mom" and "dad" or similar "parent names," but it can also just be weird if not disrespectful.
